Class Rules

The Big Five
1. Always do the very best you can. You are very special. Let your work reflect your specialness like a mirror reflects your face.
2. Follow directions the first time. If you aren't sure what to do, ask or watch.
3. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Be kind in your words and actions.
4. If it doesn't belong to you, don't touch it. One of your friends is going to be looking for it!
5. If you took it out, put it away neatly when you are finished. If you opened it, close it. If you turned it on, turn it off. If you dropped, stop and pick it up.

Consequences
Green – The reminder tag. Just like a green light we keep driving along but remember “the rules of the road.”
Yellow – Think Time Tag. Children are asked to stop, think, and the teacher double checks for the child’s understand of the rule.
Orange – Miss A Recess Tag
Red – Visit the Office Tag

Good Behavior for the remainder of the period earns the removal of Yellow and Orange tags!
