Homework for the week of Oct. 29, 2007:

1.) Complete science sheets 59 through 76 and return them to school by Friday.

2.) Words of the Week: Your child will need to be able to read and spell the following words. Please help your child be ready for a spelling test on Friday.

* These words do not sound out and must be memorized

3.) Please complete the Book Report for one book you read this week. You may use your library book, one of our take home books, or a book you already own.


Family Focus Time:

PUMPKIN MATH WITH SEEDSDo not throw away those seeds, you can do many math activities with them. Try one of these great activities!

Estimate how many seeds are in the pumpkin.
Count the seeds.
Guess how many cups your seeds will fill.
