Special Homework

TIME LINE OF YOUR LIFE

A time line shows the order in which things happen. You read the time line from left to right. The things that happened first are on the left.

WHAT TO DO:
1. Draw a line across a big piece of paper. A cut open paper grocery bag works well for this. You might also like using a piece of poster board.
2. Beginning with zero, mark a space on the line for each year of your life.
3. At zero, write your birth date. You may draw yourself as a baby or attach your baby photo.
4. Mark the special events in your life. When did you start school? When was your fist soccer game? How old were you when your first tooth came out? When were your little brothers and sisters born? If it is important to you, add it to your time line!
5. Add pictures, stickers, glitter, and anything else that will help your time line reflect your personality.
6. Bring your time line to school on Friday to share with our class.
